Spirit Taekwondo - where leaders eat last

The saying "it takes a village to raise a child" is one that is often over used, however the negative impact's that can be adopted by our children if subject to an unhealthy environment are clear.

It's for this reason that Spirit works to include the entire family into the learning process. Endeavouring to better equip parents with the tools to assist in their childrens understanding of the principles and values that define good martial artists and happy, healthy inderviduals.

The very nature of learning requires discomfort before confidence can be grown, it's due to these aspects of the learning process that the importants of environment, community and family are essential but often unspoken about fundimentals.

By including our families in the learning, students can be confident in failling forwards, knowing that there will always be helping hands to dust them off and pick them up, all the time forging the principle listed in the tenants of Taekwondo: Courtesy, integrity, Perseverance, Self-control and Indomitable Spirit.

Leading by example: Spirit in the media

Below are just some of the media clipping's and articles on the acomplishments and progress some of the Spirit student have achieved, displaying and inspiring those in the community that anything is possible if you are willing to work hard.
